About Me

My name is Russ Johnson and I live in Orange Park, FL. Thats basically in Jacksonville.  Im married to my wonderful wife Cary and we have 3 boys, ages 8, 15, and 16.
I have been developing Coldfusion applications for nearly 12 years now and Im currently in my second year as an Adobe Community Professional for ColdFusion. Im a big fan of frameworks having use Fusebox since version 1, as well as ColdBox and most recently CFWheels. I also dabble in Ruby on Rails and Flex.
I’ve worked for several start-ups in my career along with some very large corporations. After 10 long years I  formed my own consulting company called Mad Piranha, Inc. which focuses on ColdFusion contract development.
Im a huge movie fan and I love good TV series such as Lost, Heroes, Bones, and Fringe just to name a few. Im also a comic book fan and have been playing online FPS PC and XBox 360 games with a great group of guys for close to 10 years now.
My blog focuses mainly on ColdFusion and development related issues but I tend to throw in the occasional rant or movie review.
