Looking for Part-Time Contracting?

Our workload at Strike Interactive is extremely high right now. Thats always a good thing! However, when things ramp up so quickly as they tend to this time of year, meeting client deadlines sometimes becomes an issue with existing resources.

So, we are looking for a couple ColdFusion developers who can dedicate some time to doing part-time development work on a contract basis.

Strike Interactive is currently filling positions for contract ColdFusion Developers. These positions will be responsible for part-time development tasks such as working on client projects utilizing our in-house CMS and e-Commerce system, bug-fixes, as well as new features and enhancements to existing client sites. Developers must have a minimum of 3 years of proven ColdFusion development experience. Preferred application development experience with Content Management Systems and e-Commerce Systems. Candidate must have experience with the following:

  • Proficient in the use of ColdFusion Components (CFC's)
  • One of the following ColdFusion frameworks - ColdBox, FuseBox, Model-Glue, or Mach-ii
  • Form Validation with Javascript libraries such as jQuery or Prototype
  • Experience with MSSQL 2000 or 2K5, MySQL, or another Database platform

Experience with any of the following is preferred but not required:

  • .Net (ASP and C#)
  • Adobe Flex and/or ActionScript
  • Java
  • XML
  • Experience with stored procedures and triggers
  • Experience ColdSpring and Transfer

Strike Interactive is located in New York, NY but our development team works remotely so the ability to communicate is extremely important. These positions are telecommute only. Work schedule is somewhat flexible as we understand that part-time work will be done around primary responsibilites.

    i'm a flex developer, I could do some side work.... i also know coldfusion as well...
